Downtown Julie Brown hosted the “Club MTV” show in the late 1980s. The show had a similar format to American Bandstand, but featured an exclusive lineup of dance music. From this came her famous catchphrase, "Wubba Wubba Wubba."She also appeared as a dancer on “Top of the Pops” in the early 1980s. She has also appeared in a number of movies and TV shows including “Spy Hard”, “The Weird Al Show”, “Walker, Texas Ranger”, “Battle Dome” and “Hey Arnold!”.
